Atlas Community Care specializes in helping Montana families become paid caregivers through our Medicaid PAS and CFCS programs. We handle the paperwork—you provide the love and care.
Start Your JourneyThe Self-Directed Personal Assistance Services (PAS) program is the heart of what we do. It allows Montana Medicaid members to choose a family member, close friend, or trusted individual as their caregiver.
YOU choose the caregiver. We simply support, train, and guide your family through the process.
Personal Assistance Services (PAS) allows family members to assist their loved ones with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)—the essential tasks that help someone maintain dignity, comfort, and independence at home.
These tasks are often best provided by someone the member knows and trusts. Atlas guides family caregivers to perform these tasks safely, confidently, and in compliance with Montana PAS rules.
Why Family PAS Works
Personal care is deeply intimate. Having a family member provide this support preserves dignity, reduces anxiety, and strengthens the bond between caregiver and loved one.
Community First Choice Services (CFCS) gives families the tools and training to support Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)—the tasks that keep a home running smoothly and help your loved one stay connected to their community.
Families can keep their loved one in a clean, safe, and supportive home environment. Atlas trains and oversees family caregivers so these services meet Medicaid standards.

Why CFCS Matters
A safe, comfortable home environment supports independence and quality of life. Family caregivers who know the member's routines and preferences can provide this support naturally and effectively.
Some health-related tasks can be performed by a family caregiver once approved and trained by our Registered Nurse Supervisor. These tasks go beyond basic ADLs and require specialized knowledge and oversight.
Families receive training from a licensed nurse to ensure safety, competency, and compliance with Montana Medicaid rules.
